This is not a religious attack on the PEOPLE involved in catholicism. This is a revelation of the many errors in the Catholic institution.
Martin Luther nailed on Wittenberg’s door a theses of 95 points revealing the blatant errors in the system of Catholicism.
The foundation of Luther’s arguments was against the Pope’s doctrine of “indulgences,” paying money to system to receive forgiveness of sins from the Pope alone. This false doctrine usurps repentance from dead works and forgiveness of sins from Christ alone.

What’s amazing is that SOME men are determined to alter the teaching of Christ on His doctrine. The only purpose of changing the commandments of God to the commandments of men is so that men have control over other men. This takes away man going to God.
The Lord Jesus reveals why men want to do this.
The love for sin.

Without controversy, we know that an infant, let alone an early teen can’t have the competence to handle driving a car, handle a firearm, hold their liquor, and other activities that legal adults engage in.
How could an infant know anything about religion, let alone baptism?
We all know that infant baptism is never seen nor practiced in the NT, nor is it authorized by the Head of His called out believers, the Lord Jesus Christ.
And that’s why there’s essentially two sects of people.
Catholics and Protestants.

The errors is not “perceived.” The error is blatant. The error is unambiguous. The error is unmistakable.
The law of contrast makes the error clear.
All you have to do is compare what the Lord Jesus said against what Catholicism said.
Just like in Matthew 15 when the traditions of the elders made the commandments of God of no effect.
Hence, if you look at the “indulgences,” you’ll see that they’ve done away with the penalty of sin by having a person pay money and the sin is absolved. Whereas true repentance demands a departure from sin or if you fail to depart the sin and do what the Father said, you will experience the penalty of sin. HELL.
Purgatory is a very nice man made doctrine, that hopes that the prayers of people on earth, and that Mary would be the mediator, one can escape purgatory and enter into heaven.
The Lord Jesus said in John 8:34-36 (NKJV) “Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”
So which would you take a chance on?
People praying you out of purgatory to get into heaven, or the Lord Jesus making you free from the guilt and power of sin to avoid hell?
Infant water baptism seems to be an end around of what the Lord Jesus said.
