satan at the Grammy Awards

It should be no surprise that satan is worshipped in full display. The red lights, costumes, and the immorality surrounding their out in the open agenda.

The song performed at the Grammy Awards?

#Unholy.”

During the entertainment segment, Mr. Smith and a transgender performed a song called “Unholy.”

With red costumes and sexually provocative dancing and lyrics, the agenda of satan was on full display. The collaboration was sending a very clear message as CBS pointed out.

It was pure unashamed wickedness on display. Lewdness and sexual perversion to provoke God. To dare Him and thumb their noses at God in complete defiance to His holy name.

They were ready for “worship.”

It’s the blatant in your face worship of the devil.

True believers worship God in Spirit and in Truth (See John 4:24). In holiness, righteousness, and with clean hands and a pure heart (see Psalm 24-3-5).

Smith and a transgender singing as the devil while perverted dancers act like devils.

“Smith and transgender singer Kim Petras delivered a raunchy performance of “Unholy,” during the music awards show, which was blasted by conservatives on Twitter.”

Smith was dressed as the devil while dancers acting like demons seemed to bow down in worship.”

This pales in comparison to the wickedness yet to come.

Romans 5:20-21

“Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

The other thing that we shouldn’t be surprised is the categories, nominations, and awards that were presented to Christian artists. It’s considered an honor for the world to recognize Christian artists?

When the Lord confronted the religious leaders of His day, many of the believers of the Jews were secret believers. They all knew that the Lord Jesus was the Messiah as prophesied in the Scriptures, but the Lord noted something that was true of them.

John 12:42-43 (NKJV) “Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue;

for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

The gist is clear that many in the Christian music industry loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

You see. If you speak a word of commanding men everywhere to repent, you’ll be put out of their “synagogue” or the Grammy Awards.

If we really believe the Bible, we wouldn’t do the things we do in defiance of the will of God.

As long as your music uplifts, inspires, encourages, and is positive the way the world wants it, you’ll be nominated. Many performers, in lies of hypocrisy, “Thank God” to appease the conviction of the law that God inscribed on their hearts (see Romans 2:15-16).

What’s the true price for believing in the Lord Jesus?

Mark 8:34-38 (NKJV) “When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.

For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.”

No matter how many times you use the name of the Lord to appear religious, and then use expletives, if you’re a true born again believer, you would never intermingle the holy lifestyle with sin.

The worldly award show is exactly what is depicted as far as awards are concerned.

1 Corinthians 9:25 (NKJV) “And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.”

What Paul was speaking about is that in a athletic competition, a person that competes is self controlled and trains in such a way that they win an earthly crown, but true believers in Christ have self control and train to win a heavenly imperishable crown.

In like manner, the world only gives out crowns or awards that only marks the excellence in worldly things. It perishes with them.

Beyonce and her worldly song “Break My Soul” won a Grammy. No surprise with her demonic seductive acts that only lures men and women into sexual immorality. Of course there would be others but as believers, we need to understand that the world is at war against God. The world is hostile towards God because they hate God.

And believers that join with the world of sinful entertainment are at war with the Lord as well.

James 4:4 (NKJV) “Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”

Then JayZ put out a song called “God Did.”

According to the NY Post, “The smash hit earned three nods (nominations), including Song of the Year, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance.”

Reading the lyrics is tough to do, and I won’t post it, but it’s a combination as expected of the world and the kind of god they want to serve. It’s laced with expletives intermingled with God.

Should we expect anything less?

Absolutely not.

A few decades ago, the Grammy’s wouldn’t even think about nominating Christian artists but it’s now a staple.

Finally, I can’t say if any other Christian artists appeared or that their representatives were there to receive the Grammy Awards but here’s the list of winners and nominees.

Contemporary Christian Music Performance. Winner: Maverick City Music, Kirk Franklin.

Gospel Album: Kingdom Book One, Winner: Maverick City Music, Kirk Franklin.

Contemporary Christian Music Album: Winner: Breathe, Maverick City Music.

Roots Gospel Album: Winner: Aristocrat of Bands:The Urban Hymnal.

Gospel Performance/Song: Winner: Kingdom, Maverick City Music, Kirk Franklin.

Kirk Franklin appeared to have been legit at the start, but turned for the worst.

Especially with a lyric that he used “The Lion and The Lamb will bow down to the goat.”

We all know that the goat is satan especially when you see the Baphomet and other occult symbols.

Millions of professed believers will applaud the Grammy’s and because their senses aren’t trained to discern both good and evil (see Hebrews 5:12-14 and 1 Peter 2:1-2), they’ll think nothing of this.

That’s why 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 is so important.

We must remember the parable of the Tares in Matthew 13:24-30 and also, the fact that not everyone will enter the kingdom of heaven according to the Word of the Lord in Matthew 7:21-23 and Revelation 22:14-15.

Ephesians 2:1-3 (NKJV) “And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.”

They’re blinded by the god of this world, walking the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4 (NKJV) “But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.”

With the writing of this blog, it’s clear that I will be labeled as a hater.

I am a hater.

Proverbs 8:13 (NKJV) “The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; pride and arrogance and the evil way and the perverse mouth I hate.”

If you’re a believer that’s trapped in the snare of the devil, taken captive at satan’s will, this word is for you……

2 Corinthians 6:14 – 18, 7:1 (NKJV) “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers.

For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness?

And what communion has light with darkness?

And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?

And what agreement has the temple of God with idols?

For you are the temple of the living God.

As God has said:
“I will dwell in them
And walk among them.
I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.”
Therefore
“Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you.”
“I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and daughters,
Says the LORD Almighty.”
Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”

Published by Culture Versus The Bible

Since the beginning of time, people have tried to dethrone the Bible as the Word of God. The war against God and His Word is intense. Think of it as a child rebelling against the parent. If the parent does its job, the child will experience the discipline that's necessary. Because the parent realizes that if the parent fails in their job, the child will insist on despising regulation, authority, and discipline. Culture has the same mindset today. As a little child, it insists on rebelling against authority and when the child doesn't get its way, then they go on a mission to destroy everything. In the end, the Bible wins. Every person that came on this earth in the past is dead. But another generation rises to attempt to do the impossible. Win the war against God and the Bible.
