You must be saved!
Sin
Romans 3:23 says “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” But thank God for verse 24. “Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.” To be justified means to freely be made innocent of the charges. Why? Because Jesus paid the price for our sins with His body and shed blood.
Repentance
Matthew 4:17 says, “Repent! For the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” To repent means to reconsider or to change your mind. Isaiah 55 starting at verse 6 says, “Seek the Lord while he may be found. Call upon Him while He’s near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts and return to Me, says the Lord, and I will abundantly pardon.”
Romans 10:9-10 says “For if you say with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.”
Just form this in a prayer and mean it from your heart.
Lord, I repent. I ask for Your forgiveness. You said in Your Word that you would abundantly pardon me. I say with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I believe in my heart that You’ve raised Jesus from the dead. Based on your Word and that you’ve granted me repentance, I am saved. In Jesus’ name, amen.
